How we write and update our guides

Wellbeing and health topics deserve care. This page explains the standards behind every Welliox article.

Who writes the guides

Articles are written by the Welliox editorial team in plain language for the general public. They are original: we do not copy or rewrite other websites. Each article shows when it was published and when it was last updated.

What the guides are, and are not

  • General information and practical ideas for everyday life, linked to the five areas the check looks at: Emotional, Career & Purpose, Physical, Financial and Social.
  • Not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. We do not diagnose, and we do not recommend medicines, supplements or treatments.
  • Where a topic can affect health or safety, the article says when to talk to a doctor, counsellor or other professional, and points to emergency help.

Sources

We rely on well-established public health guidance and everyday practical experience, and we link to reputable public sources such as national health services and the World Health Organization in the "Further reading" lists. We avoid dramatic claims and statistics we cannot support.

Professional review

Our aim is for every article to be reviewed by a qualified professional. When an article has been reviewed, the reviewer's name and role appear at the top of the article. Until an article shows a reviewer, please read it as general information from our editorial team.

Updates and corrections

We revisit articles regularly and change the "last updated" date when the content changes in a meaningful way. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it: hello@getwelliox.com.

Advertising and independence

Where advertising appears, it appears only on article pages, is clearly labelled, and never influences what we write or how the check scores you. We do not publish sponsored articles. The questionnaire and results pages never show ads, and your answers are never shared with advertisers.
